It is true that no broadcast of the departure of Meles have been done inside Eritrea and there is a good reason for it. Meles was the cause of 25000 dead between 1998 and 2000 (almost half of the dead martyred during the 30 years long war for independence that took away 65000 sons and daughters to Eritrean mothers and fathers. It is not part of the Eritrean culture to jump up and down in regards to somebody that dies, also if he is your worst enemy; so in this occasion better not to talk about it as it could ignite some dis-pleasant reactions within the population.
